When Acts was first planted we set in our DNA that we would be a church that goes into its community and gives people the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We also want to make sure that we go to ALL people and are truly a blessing to our communities and cities. Some of the outreaches we have are listed below. Prayerfully look and see where you would like to get involved with outreaches.
MISSIONAL COMMUNITY GROUPS (MCG)- All our groups go out once a month into their communities to love, serve, and reach people for Jesus. To know more get plugged in an MCG.
BACKPACK DRIVE- Every year in August we do a backpack drive for the whole community. It's a way to bless many who don’t have much. We give away around 500 backpacks! Many businesses also join in with free haircuts and so forth to bless our community.
EVENTS FOR THE COMMUNITY- Every year we do cook-offs, fall festivals, toy & food drives and other events to just bless our communities around the church. We offer food, face painting, music, games, and more.
CHURCH IN THE COMMUNITY- Every month we like to take church to the people. This might be at a park, apartment complex, or community center. We hold a service and fun environment for people to gather together for worship and fellowship.
COMMUNITY PREGNANCY CENTER OF PASADENA- Acts has partnered with the Crisis Pregnancy Center in providing a bridge between the center and our church so that ladies who have chosen to keep their babies know that they have a place to help them and walk with them every step of the way even after their baby is born. Every 4th Thursday of the month we go and serve a meal to the ladies at the Pasadena Crisis Pregnancy Center. We also do a short devotional for them each month as well.
