CHRIST CENTERED | Everything in our lives should point back to Jesus. We should strive so that whatever we think, say or do is centered around Jesus.
PRAYER | In 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Paul writes that we should pray without ceasing. At Acts, we believe that prayer is powerful and essential to having a close relationship with God. We want prayer to be not only daily, but throughout the day, every day.
STUDENT OF GOD'S WORD | Believers have to be intentional about spending time in the Word of God, and not only rely on sermons as their only exposure. Jesus said, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God”. There is always room to grow.
EMPOWERED BY THE SPIRIT | Too often we try to do ministry on our own, which always lead to failure. If we expect to see God move and to see lives changed, we must be empty of ourselves and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
MISSION MINDED | Everywhere we go is a mission field, not just overseas. At Acts, we desire to be disciples that make disciples and that takes being on mission with Jesus 24/7/365.
