Discipleship happens in a community. We mature in our faith when we have a community of believers on mission living life together. Every week, members of Acts Community Church meet in homes called Missional Community Groups (MCG) throughout the Deer Park, Pasadena, LaPorte, Seabrook, East-Side, and Pearland area to invest in each other’s lives, pray for one another and study God’s word together.

Each group looks differently although they all intentionally live out the Great Commission and seek opportunities to live on mission in our community, in our city, and in our nation. Our vision is to see a community group in every community in our area. Together we strive to create an enviroment in every MCG where everyone is:

• Growing in the Word Together: Being devoted as a body to pursuing the proper understanding and application of God’s Word.

• Growing in Prayer: Learning to pray in one accord with confidence before the throne of God.

• Growing in Genuine Fellowship: Learning how to break bread and commune with each other as a family with sincere hearts for the edification of the group.

• Growing in Multiplication: Seeing people from our communities coming to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior because of disciples making disciples. Which means seeing community groups give birth to other community groups.
