Acts Children's Ministry exists to come alongside parents as they seek to raise their children to know and love Jesus. Each Sunday children (ages 1 to 10) are taught Biblical truths through worship songs, Bible stories, games, and crafts. We encourage children and families to memorize Scripture, learn catechism through song, and talk about Jesus throughout the course of the week using resources from Acts kids that are sent home with your child weekly.

WHERE DO I TAKE MY KIDS ON SUNDAY MORNINGS?

All children should be signed in at the check-in desk, which is located near the backend of the church. From the parking lot follow the "Children's Ministry Sign" where you'll be directed to the area where you can check-in. If the door is closed, ring the doorbell as a sign will instruct. You may begin checking your kids at 9:15am before first service and 10:45am before second service. Volunteers will give you a check-in card with a specific number that will be designated specifically to your child(ren).

You must have this check-in card to enter the Acts Children's Ministry area and to pick up your child at the end of service. Children 1 year to 6 years old meet in our preschool area and children 7 to 10 years old meet in our fellowship hall. Children will not be dimissed until checked out by parents with the correspending check-in card. Your child’s classroom is based on their age at the beginning of school year (Sept. 1).

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Children from 1 years old to potty training should have a diaper bag or backpack that is clearly labeled. This bag should include plenty of diapers or pull-ups, a weather-appropriate change of clothes, snacks (for children with allergies), sippy cups or bottles that are clearly labeled, and any formula or breast milk that may be needed. There is a labeling sticker at the check-in desk where you can label any needed items.

WHO RECEIVES SNACKS IN ACTS KIDS?

All children in Acts Children's Ministry will be offered a snack of either animal crackers, Cheerios, etc., and water/juice. If your child has a specific food allergy or dietary restrictions that keep them from eating the provided snacks, please bring an individual snack and give it to their teacher upon check-in.

WHAT SAFETY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES DO YOU EMPLOY?

We perform background checks on every volunteer. Volunteers receive regular training and they wear a Acts Children's Ministry name tag. For security purposes, parents may not enter the Children's Area without being escorted by a volunteer.

WHAT ABOUT HEALTH CONCERNS?

We have a 24 hour well policy, which means that children must be free of fever, vomiting, rash, pink eye, head lice, or illness for at least 24 hours before entering the children’s area.

***Please notify us upon check-in if your child has any allergies or special needs. Their specific need or allergy will be printed on their name tag to alert the volunteers working with your child that day.***

WHAT ABOUT OLDER CHILDREN?

We believe it is important for children to witness their parents worshipping Christ and studying their Bible. They are also able to serve and participate in areas of the church alongside adults. Therefore, children 11 years and older should attend church with their parents.

We also offer Acts Youth Ministry on Wednesday evenings starting at 6:30 for older children and teenagers. Foods provided, the gospel's preached, and students participate in games and activities. If you have older children or teenagers and want more information contact our student pastor Matt Rodriguez.
